Services We Provide

* Overturn Denied Claims -  Can they do that? This is the
classic reaction many providers have when receiving a denied
claim that appears to be unjustified. The answer is yes, they can,
unless you have the resources to appeal the claim and collect
interest on late insurance payments.

Our Specialty is over turning denied claims. We fight insurance
companies on a daily basis. ACJ Legal Collections, Inc. file your
appeal letters covering most of the denial reasons often cited by
insurance companies, but more then the letters, we have
experience Lien Representatives, that know how to do their job.

Appeal letter categories include preexisting conditions, medical
necessity, policy exclusions, lack of timely filing, stalled claims,
refund requests, usual & customary reductions, and more.

Almost half the states have laws requiring insurance carriers to
pay interest on late payments under certain circumstances.
ACJ Legal Collections provides letters for each of these states to
allow you to easily pursue interest payments.

* Collection Letters -
The first letter establishes contact with the patient. It is very cordial
and notifies the patient that the account is seriously delinquent.
Many times, this first letter from an outside agency is enough to
elicit a proper response. A second letter is sent in the event that
payment is not received. It is more strongly worded and notifies the
patient that further action will be taken.

We are a Credit Reporting Agent, if payment is not received we
will
REPORT IT!!!

* Personal Phone Contact -
We will establish phone contact with the patient to ascertain the
reasons behind the delinquent status of their account. We will
inform the patient that we are willing to assist them by setting up a
payment plan or helping with insurance claims. We also use our
Dialer System to run campaigns regarding your account, . It is
designed to generate a calls on your accounts on a higher scale.

* Insurance Filing Assistance -
We have vast experience dealing with insurance company claims
and can assist the patient with initial filings or follow up previous
filings.

* Payment Plan Arrangements -
If the patient is not covered by insurance, we will arrange a payment
plan that is within their budget and can be managed.

* Account Management -
We manage the receivable by sending monthly statements and
tracking its progress. We compile monthly accounting reports for
our client physicians which outlines the status of each overdue
account.

* Skip Trace Software -
We have access to skip tracing software in the event the patient or
patient contact information cannot be located.

* Consulting Services -
We will show you how to implement procedures that will help your
bottom line dollar.  Help set up Internet services to transfer files
electronically. Help you recognize files that will require more time
from you.  On site consulting and file handling that free up your time
so you can concentrate at more important issues...like your
business.

* Medical Fee Schedule Review & Medical Billing -
Insurance companies pay providers according to regulatory state
fee schedule... or do they? As far as the provider knows, they do but
in most cases they DO NOT. Insurance companies feel that the
provider will accept what the insurance companies will pay, and in
most cases the provider will accept that rate, then write-off the
balance never knowing that there were additional funds to be paid
to that provider. It is essential to every provider to have their medical
bills reviewed before submitting them to insurance companies. We
can submit your initial billing or resubmit your denied claims
manually or electronically call and ask for our billing services for
additional information.

Reduce the burden of stalled claims on your organization.
ACJ Legal Collections, Inc. contains letters citing the timely
insurance claims processing laws for all  contiguous states. Put
insurers on notice that staff reductions, computer downtime and
bureaucratic inefficiency can no longer be an excuse for long
processing periods.

Hearing Representatives -
Filing judgments, liens, court representation and settling
outstanding claims with attorneys and insurance examiners.

Filing and Enforcing Judgments -
When you win a Judgment in City Court, the Court sends a Notice
of Judgment to the parties. The losing party, the Debtor, has thirty
(30) days to pay the Judgment. The winning party, the Creditor,
should first contact the losing party, the Debtor, to attempt to collect
the judgment. If the Debtor fails to pay, the winning party, the
Creditor, may take steps to collect or execute the Judgment
including: Seizing personal property or assets Filing a lien against
real property and Filing an income execution or wage garnishment
